Distinguished Principal Award

Our principal, Sister William Adele, was named Distinguished Principal by the National Catholic Educational Association for 2009. Each fall, the superintendent of schools in each diocese/archdiocese in the country nominates one principal for this award.  From these nominations, twelve principals, one from each of the 12 regions, are selected to receive the award at the annual NCEA Convention.  Sister William Adele was selected as the award recipient for Region 3 (which encompasses all elementary schools in Pennsylvania and New Jersey – over a dozen dioceses in all.)  This honor comes to Sister in her 25th year as principal.
Sister was named Distinguished Principal for Montgomery County by the Office of Catholic Education of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in 2004.

Distinguished Teacher award

Miss Elva FitzGerald, our sixth grade teacher, was honored as the 2010 Distinguished Teacher by the National Catholic Educational Association.  Twelve teachers are selected from across the nation to receive this award at the annual NCEA Convention. This award includes all the Catholic elementary schools in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
