Some tips on viewing the projects created by our students:
QUICKTIME
To view quicktime movies (the Kidpix files are usually saved in this format) you will have to have the QuickTime player installed on your computer. If it does not open then you can download the player (windows) free HERE. You can uncheck the box for the free yahoo toolbar if you don't want it and you don't have to give an email address even though the page asks for one.
POWERPOINT
To play the PowerPoint presentations you will need the either PowerPoint software of the PowerPoint Player. This is also a free download from Microsoft and you can go HERE to download it. For any other office converters such as Word click here.
ADOBE PDF FILES
Any PDF files will require Acrobat Reader to open them. This free download can be found HERE.
OTHER KNOWN PROBLEMS
Most of the other files should be fine. If you have Windows XP you might get a warning that it is blocking the content. You can click the bar under the toolbar at the top of the page and allow it.
SOME OTHER FREE DOWNLOADS YOU MAY NEED FOR OTHER FILES ON THE INTERNET. Just click the one you need an follow the instructions. Be careful of Real Player because they have two other players that cost money.
