What's Happening in 6th Grade
 October is the month of the Holy Rosary.  Students should have their rosaries with them in class.  We will be praying a decade of the rosary every day. 

 

Subject Information
Religion -students are learning about the stories of creation   - we will be making scripture scrolls & creation mobiles

Math - students are reviewing multiplication & division of whole numbers and will soon be learning about decimals

Integrated Language Arts - we are beginning our journals in reading workshop and are writing a personal narrative

Social Studies - students are learning about the history & geography of Europe & Russia

Science - students created inventions for the 21st century and will be performing their 2nd lab. They are studying speed, motion, and forces. 

Reminders: 

 

*students should have their USB drives on a daily basis           

*grades can be accessed on-line using your personal ID number   
*monthly calendar is available for viewing (click on Agenda to view the schedule too) 
*absentee notes are required
